Stucchi’s has been a favorite of Ann Arbor residents for over 20 years.  With two locations, each on popular campus streets (State St. and South U.), Stucchi’s has been the primary stop for fro-yo fanatics for a very long time.  But in April of 2009, YogoBliss, a new frozen yogurt place opened on South U, right down the road from Stucchi’s.  With its chic decor and prominent location at U of M’s campus, one might wonder whether YogoBliss poses a threat to the more traditional ice cream shop.  But Stucchi’s fans, worry not.  While Stucchi’s sells ice cream, frozen yogurt, and cakes, YogoBliss was created in the style of the trendy New York and LA native PinkBerry, featuring original, plain frozen yogurt and mostly fruit as toppings.  This, of course, is not the only type of yogurt they make, but it is certainly their best selling.  I like to go to YogoBliss when I want frozen yogurt with strawberries for lunch, but Stucchi’s will always be my fro-yo shop of choice when I need my chocolate fix.  Stucchi’s also recently added the ever-popular insomnia cookies to their menu, which is sure to keep customers happy.
