I have been taking Japanese I at the University of South Florida. It’s exciting for me because I want to study abroad there someday. The teacher I have is quirky and makes learning interesting. All the students have a drive to learn it which also makes the class easier to be in. Here are a few basic phrases that I have learned so far:

おはよお Ohayoo Good Morning

こにちは Konnichiwa Good Afternoon

こんばんはKonbanwa Goodnight

すみません Sumimasen Excuse Me

ありがとう Arigatou Thank You

I try and practice whenever possible so I will retain the information. People around school see me walking around with my Japanese book and get all excited, asking me if I like it and what it is like. If only I enjoyed Microeconomics and Financial Accounting like this…
