The first place trophy at the 2009 Carolinas Conference was claimed by Clemson University’s American Society of Civil Engineers student chapter. Clemson’s teams placed first in a number of competitions at this regional conference ensuring a spot in two upcoming national competitions in Vegas(Steel Bridge) and Alabama (Concrete Canoe).
