Two of the most enjoyable days I’ve had at the University of Michigan happened on Spring Term, when classes were done and the weather was warm in the Nichols Arboretum, more commonly known as the “arb”. When my parents were dropping me off at the beginning of my freshman year, I walked through the arb [...]

Unfortunately for the freshmen, who have already gone to orientation or will be going within the next 7 or so weeks, by the time they go to the fishbowl to register for classes, many are already full, since the rest [...]

If you’re looking for somewhere reasonably priced to eat, with good food, look no further than South U or Kerrytown’s No Thai! This is one of my all-time favorite places to eat on campus…my friends and I always joke about how we could write a five-page essay about this place. No Thai is one of [...]

Officials at the University of Michigan announced on 4/20 (how ironic) that all University of Michigan campuses will be smoke-free, starting July 1, 2011. Currently, smoking is banned in all dorms and all health-related buildings, but there are a few campus residence halls that allow smoking. The new law will also ban all smoking on [...]
